About SFFC
Welcome to Southern Force Football Club (SFFC) – a family friendly and fun environment for playing and developing in The World Game. We are a Christian club that seeks to Honour God through Sport. We are also a community-based club serving the Southern Suburbs and is actively engaged in promoting and developing soccer in the community.
SFFC is supported and based out of the Providence Christian College and aims to extend the college ethos of “Learning for Life”, through soccer. SFFC is a Western Australian Christian Football Association (WACFA) member Club. This means all games are played on Saturdays.
The club prides itself on a long history of fostering Champions with strong emphasis on developing talent and ensuring that football is enjoyed by as many players as possible regardless of age or ability.
We are a volunteer driven club that has a variety of participants across all our junior to senior programs combined. Our Mini-roos team starts at the ages of 4-6 years old for both boys and girls. The junior program runs from ages 7-18 years old. We cater for boys and girls, men and women of all ages & ethnicity, who desire to play soccer.
We trust that the club will provide a sporting & social outlet for children and adults in the local area and are committed to raising standards in grassroots football, with a well-run and sustainable football club.
Our Committee
The executive committee is responsible for administering the Club’s affairs in accordance with the Club’s constitution. Members of the committee are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Current members of the committee are listed below.
Our Mission Statement
To develop, maintain and promote the Association for players and supporters of all its teams within the community of Southern River and its environs -with the express purpose of achieving the highest standards as a Christian based soccer association.
To encourage and promote Christian values and ethics within the Association, with other participating (opposition) teams and towards the broader community
To achieve an environment for personal development of members socially and in terms of playing team sports skilfully and at their best.
Partnership
In the line with our faith, we continue our Positive Partnership with Providence Christian College to honour and uphold the ethos of the college of “Learning for Life” ! We are grateful for the opportunity to continue nurturing and developing the Sports community.
Our Home Grounds
Our club operates across two locations: Providence Christian College is home to our ( u6-u12) Miniroo’s and Junior teams, while our League teams ( u13 -Masters) train at Hume Oval. We actively partner with the councils overseeing these facilities, including the City of Gosnells and the Town College both which have been tremendous supporters of the club.
